1. 01My Proposal for Shorter, Better Team Meetings

   Good morning, everyone. Our team spends about five hours a week in meetings. Today, I'd like to propose a few simple changes to make our meetings shorter and more useful.

   Buenos días a todos. Nuestro equipo pasa unas cinco horas a la semana en reuniones. Hoy quiero proponer algunos cambios sencillos para que nuestras reuniones sean más cortas y más útiles.

2. 02The Problem

   Right now, many of our meetings run too long, only a few people speak, and we often leave without clear decisions.

   Ahora mismo, muchas de nuestras reuniones duran demasiado, solo hablan unas pocas personas y a menudo salimos sin decisiones claras.

3. 03Change 1: A Clear Agenda

   First, every meeting should have a clear agenda. If we send it a day before, everyone can come prepared.

   Primero, cada reunión debería tener un orden del día claro. Si lo enviamos un día antes, todos pueden venir preparados.

4. 04Change 2: 30 Minutes Maximum

   Second, let's keep most meetings to thirty minutes. We can set a timer, and if a topic needs more time, we can discuss it separately.

   Segundo, limitemos la mayoría de las reuniones a treinta minutos. Podemos poner un temporizador y, si un tema necesita más tiempo, podemos tratarlo aparte.

5. 05Change 3: End With Actions

   Third, every meeting should end with clear actions: who will do what, and by when. Then we share short notes on the same day.

   Tercero, cada reunión debería terminar con acciones claras: quién hará qué y para cuándo. Luego compartimos notas breves ese mismo día.

6. 06Before and After

   If we follow these three rules, I estimate we could save about two hours a week each, and everyone would know exactly what to do next.

7. 07Let's Try It

   So, my suggestion is to try these changes for one month and then review how it went. Thank you for listening.
