Privacy Policy

Slidutter (“we”) is a service for practicing English presentations. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it. We try to keep it short and simple.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address. If you sign in with Google, we also receive basic profile information from Google, such as your name and profile picture. We use it only to show your account in the site header.
• Content you add. The PDF slides you upload, their titles and categories, and the notes you write.
• Messages you send us. What you write in the contact form, and your email address if you choose to add it. We use it only to read your message, reply to you, and improve Slidutter.
• Recordings. Audio you record stays in your browser on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers, and it is deleted when you leave the page.
• Usage data. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
• Cookies. We use cookies only to keep you logged in.

2. How we use your information

• To provide Slidutter, such as logging you in and saving your presentations and notes.
• To send account emails, such as email confirmation and password reset.
• To understand how Slidutter is used and make it better.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Services we use

We use these services to run Slidutter. They handle data for us to provide the service.

• Supabase: database, login, and file storage
• Vercel: website hosting and analytics
• Resend: sending account emails
• Google: “Sign in with Google,” if you choose to use it

4. Who can see your content

Your presentations and notes are private. Our database is set up so that only you can see and change them when you are logged in.

5. Deleting your data

You can delete your presentations at any time in the app. To delete your account and all of your data, email us at slidutter@gmail.com. We will delete it within 30 days.

6. Children

Slidutter is not intended for children under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
