1. 01School Lunch in Japan

   Hello, everyone. When I was in elementary school in Japan, my favorite time of the day was lunch. Today, I'll introduce Japanese school lunch, called kyushoku.

   Hola a todos. Cuando iba a la escuela primaria en Japón, mi momento favorito del día era el almuerzo. Hoy les voy a presentar el almuerzo escolar japonés, que se llama kyushoku.

2. 02Students Serve the Food

   In Japan, students serve the lunch. We wore white coats and hats, and we took turns bringing the food to the classroom.

   En Japón, los alumnos sirven el almuerzo. Nos poníamos batas y gorros blancos, y nos turnábamos para llevar la comida al salón de clases.

3. 03What We Ate

   We usually had rice or bread, soup, a main dish, and a carton of milk. My favorite was curry day!

   Normalmente comíamos arroz o pan, sopa, un plato principal y un cartón de leche. ¡Mi favorito era el día del curry!

4. 04Eating Together

   Everyone ate together in the classroom, even our teacher. After lunch, we cleaned up together.

   Todos comíamos juntos en el salón, incluso nuestro maestro. Después del almuerzo, limpiábamos juntos.

   School lunch taught me about food and teamwork. I still miss curry day. Thank you for listening.
