1. 01How I Started Playing the Guitar at 60

   Hello, everyone. My name is Tom, and I'm sixty-two years old. Two years ago, I started playing the guitar. Today, I want to share my story.

   皆さん、こんにちは。私の名前はトムで、62歳です。2年前に、ギターを弾き始めました。今日は、私の話をしたいと思います。

2. 02Why I Started

   When I retired, I suddenly had a lot of free time. I always loved music, but I never learned an instrument. So I decided to try the guitar.

   退職したとき、急に自由な時間がたくさんできました。音楽はずっと大好きでしたが、楽器を習ったことは一度もありませんでした。そこで、ギターをやってみることにしました。

3. 03The Hard Part

   At first, it was really hard. My fingers hurt, and I played very slowly. Sometimes I wanted to give up.

   最初は本当に大変でした。指が痛くなりましたし、弾くのもとても遅かったです。あきらめたくなったこともありました。

4. 04My Practice Routine

   But I didn't stop. I practice for twenty minutes every day. I learn one new song every month. On weekends, I play for my family.

   でも、やめませんでした。毎日20分練習しています。毎月1曲、新しい曲を覚えます。週末には、家族のために弾きます。

5. 05Never Too Late

   Now, playing the guitar makes me very happy. My advice is simple: start small and enjoy it. It's never too late to learn something new. Thank you!
