   Hi, everyone. I'm a graphic designer in Seoul, and last year I decided to learn the piano using only free online videos. Today, I'll share the pros and cons of learning this way.

   皆さん、こんにちは。私はソウルのグラフィックデザイナーで、去年、無料のネット動画だけでピアノを学ぶことにしました。今日は、この学び方の良い点と悪い点を紹介します。

2. 02Pro 1: It's Free

   The first advantage is cost. Private lessons can be expensive, but online videos are free, and you can choose from hundreds of teachers.

   一つ目のメリットは、費用です。個人レッスンは高いことがありますが、ネットの動画は無料で、何百人もの先生から選べます。

3. 03Pro 2: Learn Anytime

   Another advantage is flexibility. I can practice at midnight after work, and I can pause and repeat a difficult part as many times as I want.

   もう一つのメリットは、自由がきくことです。仕事のあと真夜中に練習できますし、難しいところは何度でも止めてくり返せます。

4. 04Con 1: No One Corrects You

   However, there are disadvantages. The biggest one is that nobody corrects you. For months, I held my hands the wrong way and didn't even notice.

   でも、デメリットもあります。一番は、だれも直してくれないことです。何か月も、手の形が間違っていたのに、気づきもしませんでした。

5. 05Con 2: Easy to Give Up

   The second problem is motivation. With no teacher waiting for me, it was easy to skip practice when I was tired.

   二つ目の問題は、やる気です。待っている先生がいないので、疲れているときは練習をさぼりがちでした。

6. 06My Advice

   My advice is to mix both. Learn with videos, but take a real lesson once a month to check your habits. Also, record yourself so you can see your mistakes.

   私のアドバイスは、両方を組み合わせることです。動画で学びながら、月に1回は本物のレッスンを受けて、くせを確かめてもらいましょう。それから、自分の演奏を録画して、間違いが見えるようにしましょう。

   In conclusion, online videos are a great way to start, but they can't do everything. A little real feedback goes a long way. Thank you.
