   Hello, everyone. I'm from a small town by the sea. Today, I want to tell you about my hometown.

   皆さん、こんにちは。私は海のそばの小さな町の出身です。今日は、私のふるさとについて話したいと思います。

2. 02Where It Is

   My hometown is by the sea. It's about two hours from the city by train. About twenty thousand people live there.

   私のふるさとは海のそばにあります。都会から電車で2時間くらいです。2万人くらいの人が住んでいます。

3. 03What You Can Do There

   There are many things to do there. In summer, you can swim in the sea. You can also eat fresh fish at small restaurants. My favorite thing is walking on the beach at sunset.

   そこでは、いろいろなことができます。夏には海で泳げます。小さなレストランで新鮮な魚を食べることもできます。私が一番好きなのは、夕暮れの浜辺を歩くことです。

4. 04Then and Now

   My hometown has changed a lot. When I was a child, there were many shops and lots of kids. Now, there are fewer shops, but more tourists come to visit.

   私のふるさとは、ずいぶん変わりました。子どものころは、お店がたくさんあって、子どももたくさんいました。今はお店は減りましたが、観光客が前より多く来るようになりました。
