1. 01Our School Sports Day

   Hello, everyone. I'm a junior high school student in Japan. Every autumn, we have a sports day. Let me introduce it.

   皆さん、こんにちは。私は日本の中学生です。毎年秋に、運動会があります。紹介させてください。

2. 02Two Teams

   All the students are on two teams, the red team and the white team. We wear red or white headbands.

   生徒全員が、赤組と白組の二つのチームに分かれます。赤か白のはちまきをします。

3. 03The Events

   First, we have a relay race. Then, we have tug of war. At the end, every grade does a group dance.

   まず、リレーがあります。次に、綱引きがあります。最後に、学年ごとにみんなでダンスをします。

4. 04My Favorite Part

   My favorite part is cheering. Everyone shouts and claps for their team. Our families come and watch, too.

   一番好きなのは、応援です。みんな自分のチームのために叫んで、手をたたきます。家族も見に来てくれます。

5. 05Conclusion

   Last year, my team lost, but I still had a great time. Sports day is about teamwork. Thank you for listening.

   去年は私のチームは負けましたが、それでもとても楽しかったです。運動会で大事なのはチームワークです。聞いてくれてありがとうございました。
