1. 01Let's Start a Clean-Up Day in Our Park

   Good morning, neighbors. I'm a retired teacher, and I walk in our park every day. Today, I have a small idea for our neighborhood.

   近所の皆さん、おはようございます。私は退職した教師で、毎日この公園を散歩しています。今日は、私たちの地域のために、小さなアイデアがあります。

2. 02The Problem

   Recently, I see a lot of trash in the park. There are bottles near the benches and bags on the grass. It makes me sad.

   最近、公園でごみをたくさん見かけます。ベンチのそばにはペットボトル、芝生の上には袋があります。悲しくなります。

3. 03My Idea

   Let's have a clean-up day on the first Saturday of each month. We can meet at the gate at nine and clean for one hour.

   毎月第1土曜日に、清掃の日を作りましょう。9時に門のところに集まって、1時間掃除すればいいのです。

4. 04Why It's a Good Idea

   This idea is good for two reasons. The park will be cleaner, and we can meet our neighbors. After cleaning, we can have tea together.

   このアイデアが良い理由は二つあります。公園がきれいになりますし、近所の人と知り合えます。掃除のあとは、一緒にお茶を飲めます。

   Please bring gloves, and I will bring trash bags. Everyone is welcome, even children. I hope to see you there. Thank you.
