1. 01School Uniforms

   Good morning, everyone. At my school in Johannesburg, we all wear uniforms. Some students love them, and some hate them. Today, I'll look at both sides.

   皆さん、おはようございます。ヨハネスブルグの私の学校では、全員が制服を着ています。制服が大好きな生徒もいれば、大嫌いな生徒もいます。今日は、両方の意見を見ていきます。

2. 02Supporters Say: No Morning Stress

   Supporters say uniforms make mornings easier. You don't have to decide what to wear, so you save time and energy before school.

   賛成する人は、制服があると朝が楽になると言います。何を着るか決めなくていいので、学校の前の時間とエネルギーを節約できます。

3. 03Supporters Say: Everyone Looks Equal

   They also say uniforms make students more equal. When everyone wears the same clothes, there's less pressure to wear expensive brands.

   制服があると生徒がもっと平等になる、とも言います。みんなが同じ服を着ていれば、高いブランドを着なければというプレッシャーが減ります。

4. 04Critics Say: No Self-Expression

   On the other hand, critics argue that clothes are a way to show who you are. With uniforms, it's harder for students to express their personality.

   一方で、反対する人は、服は自分らしさを表す方法だと主張します。制服があると、生徒は個性を表しにくくなります。

5. 05Critics Say: Cost and Comfort

   Critics also point out that uniforms can be expensive, and they're not always comfortable, especially in hot weather.

   反対する人は、制服は高いことがあるし、特に暑い日には、いつも着心地がいいとは限らない、とも指摘しています。

6. 06My View

   In my opinion, uniforms are useful, but schools could allow small choices, like different colors of sweaters or comfortable summer options.

   私の意見では、制服は役に立ちますが、学校は、セーターの色を選べるようにしたり、着心地のいい夏服を用意したりして、小さな選択を認めてもいいと思います。

7. 07Conclusion

   To sum up, both sides have good points. With a little flexibility, uniforms can keep their benefits and still let students be themselves. Thank you.
