   Hello, everyone. Last year, I traveled to Malaysia. My friend said, "You must try durian!" Today, I'll tell you about my first time eating it.

   皆さん、こんにちは。去年、マレーシアに旅行しました。友達に「ドリアンは絶対食べなきゃ！」と言われました。今日は、初めてドリアンを食べたときのことをお話しします。

2. 02What It Looks Like

   Durian is a big green fruit. It is covered in sharp spikes. Inside, there is soft yellow fruit.

   ドリアンは、大きな緑色の果物です。鋭いとげで覆われています。中には、やわらかい黄色の果肉があります。

3. 03The Smell

   When my friend opened it, the smell was very strong. I wanted to run away! Some people love it, and some people hate it.

   友達が割ったとき、においがとても強烈でした。逃げ出したくなりました！大好きな人もいれば、大嫌いな人もいます。

4. 04The Taste

   But then I tried a small piece. It was sweet and creamy, a little like custard. I was surprised. I liked it!

   でも、小さなひとかけらを食べてみました。甘くてクリーミーで、少しカスタードのようでした。驚きました。おいしかったのです！

5. 05Conclusion

   Durian taught me one thing: don't judge food by its smell. Try new things! Thank you for listening.
