   Hi, everyone. Two years ago, I made a rule for myself: no new clothes. Since then, everything I've bought has been second-hand. Today, I'd like to recommend it to you.

   大家好。两年前，我给自己定了一个规矩：不买新衣服。从那以后，我买的所有东西都是二手的。今天，我想向大家推荐二手衣服。

2. 02Reason 1: It Saves Money

   The first reason is money. At thrift shops, I've found jackets for the price of a coffee. I spend much less than before, but I still have plenty to wear.

   第一个理由是钱。在二手店里，我花一杯咖啡的钱就能买到夹克。我比以前花得少多了，但衣服还是很多，够我穿。

3. 03Reason 2: My Style Is More Unique

   The second reason is style. In second-hand shops, every item is different. My friends often ask where I got my clothes, and nobody at work wears the same shirt as me.

   第二个理由是风格。在二手店里，每一件都不一样。朋友们经常问我衣服是在哪儿买的，公司里也没有人跟我穿一样的衬衫。

   The third reason is waste. When I buy a used shirt, it gets a second life instead of going into the trash. It feels like a small but real way to help.

   第三个理由是减少浪费。我买一件旧衬衫，它就有了第二次生命，而不是被扔进垃圾桶。我觉得这是一种虽小但实实在在的帮助方式。

   I shop in three places: thrift shops, weekend flea markets, and clothes swaps with friends, where we trade things we don't wear anymore.

   Here are my tips. Check each item for stains and small holes, go often because new things arrive every week, and always wash your clothes before you wear them.
