Hello, everyone. I'm a university student from Mexico. Last summer, I climbed Mt. Fuji with two friends. Today, I want to tell you about that night.
Hola a todos. Soy una estudiante universitaria de México. El verano pasado subí el monte Fuji con dos amigos. Hoy quiero contarles sobre esa noche.
02Starting the Climb
We started climbing in the evening. Soon it was dark, so we used headlamps. The path was rocky and steep.
Empezamos a subir por la tarde. Pronto oscureció, así que usamos linternas frontales. El camino era rocoso y empinado.
03The Hard Part
Near the top, it was very cold and windy. My legs were so tired. I wanted to stop, but my friends said, "Just a little more!"
Cerca de la cima hacía mucho frío y mucho viento. Tenía las piernas muy cansadas. Quería parar, pero mis amigos me decían: «¡Solo un poco más!».
04The Sunrise
At the top, we waited. Then the sun came up over a sea of clouds. The sky turned orange. Everyone was quiet. It was beautiful.
En la cima, esperamos. Entonces el sol salió sobre un mar de nubes. El cielo se volvió naranja. Todos estábamos en silencio. Era hermoso.
05Conclusion
The climb was really hard, but it was worth it. If you visit Japan in summer, try it! Bring warm clothes. Thank you for listening.
