1. 01A Day on Our Family Farm

   Hello, everyone. My family has a small rice and vegetable farm in northern Thailand. I work there with my parents. Let me tell you about a normal day.

   皆さん、こんにちは。私の家族は、タイの北部で、米と野菜の小さな農家をしています。私は両親と一緒にそこで働いています。ふだんの一日についてお話しします。

2. 025:00: Early Start

   We start at five o'clock, before it gets hot. First, I feed the chickens. Then I walk around the fields and check the plants.

   暑くなる前の、朝5時に始めます。まず、にわとりにえさをあげます。それから、畑を歩いて回って、作物の様子を確かめます。

3. 03Morning Work

   In the morning, we water the vegetables and pick the ripe ones. We put them in boxes for the market.

   午前中は、野菜に水をやって、熟したものを収穫します。市場に出すために、それを箱に詰めます。

4. 04Afternoon

   At noon, it is very hot, so we eat lunch and rest. At three o'clock, I take the vegetables to the market in town.

   お昼はとても暑いので、昼ごはんを食べて休みます。3時に、町の市場へ野菜を持っていきます。

5. 05Conclusion

   Farm work is hard, but I love being outside, and our food is very fresh. Thank you for listening.

   農家の仕事は大変ですが、外にいるのが大好きですし、私たちの食べ物はとても新鮮です。聞いてくれてありがとうございました。
