   Hello, everyone. Last winter, a big snowstorm came to my town in Canada. Everything stopped for a day. Let me tell you what happened.

   Hola a todos. El invierno pasado, una gran tormenta de nieve llegó a mi pueblo en Canadá. Todo se detuvo durante un día. Déjenme contarles lo que pasó.

2. 02The Morning

   In the morning, the snow was up to my knees. There was no school, and the buses didn't run.

   En la mañana, la nieve me llegaba a las rodillas. No hubo clases, y los autobuses no funcionaron.

3. 03Neighbors Helping Neighbors

   Then, everyone went outside. Neighbors shoveled snow together. We checked on the older people on our street and brought them hot soup.

   Entonces, todos salieron. Los vecinos quitaron la nieve con palas juntos. Fuimos a ver cómo estaban las personas mayores de nuestra calle y les llevamos sopa caliente.

4. 04In the Afternoon

   In the afternoon, the children built snowmen and had a big snowball fight. Even some adults joined!
