   Hello, everyone. Last winter, a big snowstorm came to my town in Canada. Everything stopped for a day. Let me tell you what happened.

   皆さん、こんにちは。去年の冬、カナダの私の町に大きな吹雪が来ました。1日、何もかもが止まってしまいました。何があったかお話しします。

2. 02The Morning

   In the morning, the snow was up to my knees. There was no school, and the buses didn't run.

   朝には、雪がひざまで積もっていました。学校は休みになり、バスも走りませんでした。

3. 03Neighbors Helping Neighbors

   Then, everyone went outside. Neighbors shoveled snow together. We checked on the older people on our street and brought them hot soup.

   そして、みんなが外に出てきました。近所の人たちが一緒に雪かきをしました。通りに住むお年寄りの様子を見に行って、温かいスープを届けました。

4. 04In the Afternoon

   In the afternoon, the children built snowmen and had a big snowball fight. Even some adults joined!

   午後には、子どもたちが雪だるまを作って、大きな雪合戦をしました。大人まで加わった人もいました！

   It was a very cold day, but it felt warm, because everyone helped each other. Thank you for listening.
