   Hi, everyone. In my first year at university, I used only a tablet. In my second year, I switched to a laptop. Today, I'll compare them, so you can choose the right one for your studies.

   Hola a todos. En mi primer año de universidad, usé solo una tableta. En mi segundo año, me cambié a una laptop. Hoy las voy a comparar, para que puedan elegir la adecuada para sus estudios.

2. 02Taking Notes

   For taking notes, the tablet was great. I could write by hand with a pen and draw diagrams. With a laptop, I type much faster, but drawing is harder.

   Para tomar apuntes, la tableta era genial. Podía escribir a mano con un lápiz digital y dibujar diagramas. Con una laptop escribo mucho más rápido, pero dibujar es más difícil.

3. 03Writing Reports

   For writing long reports, the laptop wins clearly. A real keyboard, a bigger screen, and several windows open at once make a huge difference.

   Para escribir informes largos, la laptop gana claramente. Un teclado de verdad, una pantalla más grande y varias ventanas abiertas a la vez hacen una enorme diferencia.

4. 04Carrying It Around

   When it comes to carrying it around campus, the tablet is lighter, and in my experience, its battery lasted longer. My laptop made my bag noticeably heavier.

   Cuando se trata de llevarla por el campus, la tableta es más ligera, y en mi experiencia, su batería duraba más. Mi laptop hacía que mi mochila pesara bastante más.

5. 05Side by Side

   When I put them side by side, each one is better at different tasks.

6. 06My Advice

   So my advice depends on your major. If you write many reports or need special software, choose a laptop. If you mostly read, draw diagrams, or take handwritten notes, a tablet might be enough.

   Así que mi consejo depende de su carrera. Si escriben muchos informes o necesitan programas especiales, elijan una laptop. Si sobre todo leen, dibujan diagramas o toman apuntes a mano, quizá una tableta sea suficiente.
