   Hi, everyone. I'm nineteen, and I work at a bakery in Lima. Last month, I got my first paycheck. Let me tell you what I did with it.

   皆さん、こんにちは。私は19歳で、リマのパン屋で働いています。先月、初めてのお給料をもらいました。それで何をしたかお話しします。

2. 02Payday

   On payday, I checked my bank account. I saw the money and smiled. I felt very proud, because I worked hard for it.

   給料日に、銀行の口座を確かめました。お金を見て、笑顔になりました。一生懸命働いて得たお金なので、とても誇らしい気持ちでした。

3. 03A Gift for My Mom

   First, I took my mom to a nice restaurant. She always pays for me, so this time, I paid for her. She was so happy.

   まず、母をすてきなレストランに連れて行きました。母はいつも私の分を払ってくれるので、今回は私が母の分を払いました。母はとても喜んでいました。

4. 04Saving and Spending

   Then, I saved half of the money. I used a little for new work shoes, because I stand all day at the bakery.

   それから、お金の半分を貯金しました。パン屋では一日中立っているので、少しだけ使って新しい仕事用の靴を買いました。

5. 05Conclusion

   My first paycheck was not big, but it was special. Money feels different when you earn it yourself. Thank you for listening.
