    Hi, everyone. I'm a hairdresser in Cairo. Last month, I turned thirty. My friends planned a surprise party for me. Let me tell you what happened.

  2. 02A Normal Day?

    In the morning, nobody said happy birthday. I felt a little sad. I thought, "Maybe they forgot."

    Утром никто не поздравил меня с днём рождения. Мне стало немного грустно. Мелькнула мысль: «Может, они забыли».

  3. 03The Evening

    In the evening, my best friend said, "Let's get dinner." We went to her apartment. It was dark. Then the lights came on!

    Вечером моя лучшая подруга сказала: «Пойдём поужинаем». Мы пошли к ней домой. Там было темно. И вдруг зажёгся свет!

    Fifteen friends shouted, "Surprise!" There was a big cake, music, and balloons. I was so surprised that I cried a little.
