01My First Time Wearing a Yukata
Hello, everyone. Last summer, I was an exchange student in Osaka. My host mother asked me, "Do you want to wear a yukata to the festival?" I said yes!
大家好。去年夏天，我在大阪当交换生。我的寄宿家庭妈妈问我：“你想穿浴衣去看祭典吗？”我说想！
02What Is a Yukata?
A yukata is a light cotton kimono for summer. Mine was dark blue with white flowers.
浴衣是一种夏天穿的轻薄棉质和服。我的那件是深蓝色的，上面有白色的花。
03Getting Dressed
Putting it on was not easy. My host mother helped me tie the belt. It took thirty minutes!
穿浴衣可不容易。寄宿家庭妈妈帮我系好了腰带。足足花了三十分钟！
04At the Festival
At the festival, I ate takoyaki, watched fireworks, and joined a dance with my host family. Many people said, "Your yukata is beautiful!"
在祭典上，我吃了章鱼烧，看了烟花，还和寄宿家庭一起跳了舞。很多人对我说：“你的浴衣真漂亮！”
