   Good afternoon, everyone. Millions of people around the world watch esports, and top players train like athletes. Today, I'll argue that esports deserve a place in the Olympics.

   大家午安。全世界有好幾百萬人在看電競，頂尖選手也像運動員一樣訓練。今天我要主張的是：電競應該在奧運中占有一席之地。

2. 02Huge Popularity

   First, esports are hugely popular, especially with young people. The Olympics need to connect with younger audiences, and esports could help them do that.

   第一，電競非常受歡迎，尤其是在年輕人之間。奧運需要和年輕觀眾產生連結，而電競可以幫上這個忙。

3. 03Real Skill and Training

   Second, esports require real skill. Top players need fast reactions, smart strategy, and strong teamwork, and many practice for hours every day.

   第二，電競需要真正的實力。頂尖選手需要快速的反應、聰明的戰術和良好的團隊合作，很多人每天都要練習好幾個小時。

4. 04It's Already Happening

   Third, it is already happening. At the 2022 Asian Games, which took place in 2023, esports were official medal events. In the same year, the International Olympic Committee held an Olympic Esports Week in Singapore.

   第三，這件事已經在發生了。在2023年舉辦的2022年亞運，電競成為正式的奪牌項目。同一年，國際奧會也在新加坡舉辦了奧林匹克電競週。

5. 05Is It a Real Sport?

   Some people say esports are not real sports because they are not physical enough. But shooting and archery are Olympic sports too, and they depend more on precision than strength.

   有些人說電競不算真正的運動，因為對體能的要求不夠。但射擊和射箭也是奧運項目，而它們靠的是精準度，而不是力氣。

6. 06How It Could Work

   To make it work, the Olympics could choose non-violent games, such as sports or racing games, set fair rules, and include players from every region.

   為了讓這件事可行，奧運可以選擇非暴力的遊戲，像是運動類或賽車類遊戲，訂定公平的規則，並且讓每個地區的選手都能參加。

7. 07My Position

   My position is this: the Olympics have changed many times in the past, and adding esports is the next natural step.

   In conclusion, esports have the fans, the skill, and the competition. It's time to give them a place on the Olympic stage. Thank you.
