1. 01My Proposal: A Language Exchange Club

   Good morning, everyone. Our school has students from many different countries, but we rarely talk to each other. Today, I'd like to propose a new club: a language exchange club.

   大家早安。我們學校有來自很多不同國家的學生，但我們彼此之間很少交流。今天，我想提議成立一個新社團：語言交換社。

2. 02The Problem

   Right now, most students stay in groups with people who speak the same language. As a result, we have very few chances to practice speaking other languages in real life.

   目前，大多數學生都待在說同一種語言的小圈子裡。結果，我們在現實生活中練習說其他語言的機會非常少。

3. 03The Idea

   Here's my idea. We make pairs of students with different first languages. They talk for thirty minutes in one language, and then thirty minutes in the other. Everyone is both a teacher and a learner.

   我的想法是這樣的。我們把母語不同的學生兩兩配對。他們先用一種語言聊三十分鐘，再用另一種語言聊三十分鐘。每個人既是老師，也是學習者。

4. 04The Benefits

   This club has three benefits. We get free speaking practice, we make friends from other cultures, and our school becomes a friendlier place for everyone.

   這個社團有三個好處。我們可以免費練習口語，結交來自其他文化的朋友，而且我們的學校也會變成一個對每個人都更友好的地方。

5. 05What We Need

   To start, we only need two things: one empty classroom on Wednesday afternoons, and one teacher who is willing to be our advisor.

   要開始，我們只需要兩樣東西：每週三下午一間空教室，以及一位願意擔任指導老師的老師。

6. 06A Trial Plan

   We don't need to decide everything now. I suggest we try it for one term, ask members for feedback, and then decide whether to continue.

   我們現在不需要把所有事情都定下來。我建議先試行一個學期，聽取成員的意見，然後再決定是否繼續。

7. 07Conclusion
