1. 01A Proposal: Making My Town Friendlier for Foreign Visitors

   Good afternoon, everyone. More and more foreign visitors are coming to our town, but many of them get lost or feel confused. Today, I'd like to propose three changes that could make their visit much easier.

   大家午安。來我們鎮上的外國遊客越來越多，但很多人會迷路，或者感到困惑。今天，我想提出三項改變，讓他們的旅程輕鬆很多。

2. 02The Problem

   Right now, visitors face three main problems. Most signs are only in one language, many shops accept cash only, and there are few places to ask for help.

   目前，遊客面臨三個主要問題。大多數指示牌只有一種語言，很多店鋪只收現金，而且能求助的地方很少。

3. 03Idea 1: Better Signs

   My first proposal is better signs. We can add simple English, clear pictures, and QR codes that link to more information in many languages.

   我的第一個提議是改善指示牌。我們可以加上簡單的英文、清楚的圖示，以及能連結到多語種詳細資訊的二維碼。

4. 04Idea 2: Easier Payment

   My second proposal is to make paying easier. The town could help small shops start accepting cards and phone payments, beginning with the busiest areas.

   我的第二個提議是讓付款更方便。鎮上可以幫助小店開始接受刷卡和手機支付，先從最熱鬧的區域做起。

5. 05Idea 3: A Welcome Desk

   My third proposal is a small welcome desk at the station. Local students and volunteers who speak other languages could help visitors on weekends.

   我的第三個提議是在車站設一個小型歡迎服務檯。會說其他語言的本地學生和志願者，可以在週末為遊客提供幫助。

6. 06Costs and Benefits

   These ideas don't have to be expensive. Signs and a welcome desk cost relatively little, and easier payment can actually help local shops earn more.

   這些想法不一定要花很多錢。指示牌和歡迎服務檯的花費相對較少，而方便的付款方式其實還能幫助本地店鋪多賺錢。

7. 07How to Start

   I suggest we start small. We could test these ideas in one area for three months, ask visitors for feedback, and then expand what works.

   我建議我們從小處做起。可以先在一個區域試行三個月，聽取遊客的意見，然後把有效的做法推廣開來。

8. 08Conclusion

   In conclusion, small changes can make a big difference. A town that is easy for visitors is also easier for everyone who lives here. Thank you.
