  1. 01Self-Checkout at the Supermarket

Hi, everyone. I'm a retired soldier from Poland. My supermarket has self-checkout machines. You scan and pay by yourself. Today, I'll share the good and bad points.

Hallo zusammen.

  2. 02Good: It's Fast

I like self-checkout because it is fast. When I buy only a few things, I don't wait in a long line.

  3. 03Good: My Own Speed

Also, I can go at my own speed. Nobody is waiting behind me at the counter, so I can pack my bag slowly.

  4. 04Bad: Machine Problems

I don't like it when the machine has problems. Sometimes it says, "Unexpected item!" and I must wait for a staff member. Also, I miss talking to the cashier.

  5. 05Conclusion

So, for a few things, I use the machine. For a big shopping trip, I go to the cashier and say hello. Thank you for listening.
