   Hello, everyone. In recent years, many people around the world have started working from home. Today, I'll look at the pros and cons of working from home, and share my own opinion.

   안녕하세요, 여러분. 최근 몇 년 사이 전 세계의 많은 사람들이 재택근무를 시작했습니다. 오늘은 재택근무의 장단점을 살펴보고, 제 생각도 말씀드리겠습니다.

2. 02No More Commuting

   Let's begin with the pros. The biggest advantage is no commuting. You save time and money, and you don't have to deal with crowded trains.

   장점부터 시작하겠습니다. 가장 큰 장점은 출퇴근이 없다는 것입니다. 시간과 돈을 아낄 수 있고, 붐비는 지하철을 타지 않아도 됩니다.

3. 03Freedom and Focus

   Another advantage is freedom. Many people can set their own schedule and focus better without constant interruptions from coworkers.

   또 다른 장점은 자유입니다. 많은 사람이 스스로 일정을 정할 수 있고, 동료들의 잦은 방해 없이 더 잘 집중할 수 있습니다.

4. 04The Cons

   On the other hand, there are some cons. Some people feel lonely, and it can be hard to separate work from home life. Teamwork can also be more difficult when you never meet face to face.

   반면에 단점도 있습니다. 외로움을 느끼는 사람도 있고, 일과 집안 생활을 구분하기 어려울 수 있습니다. 얼굴을 마주하지 않으면 팀워크도 더 어려워질 수 있습니다.

5. 05What Do Workers Want?

   So what do workers actually want? When I asked thirty people at my office, the most popular answer was not one or the other, but a mix of both. This is called hybrid work.

   그렇다면 직장인들은 실제로 무엇을 원할까요? 제가 사무실에서 30명에게 물어봤더니, 가장 많은 답은 어느 한쪽이 아니라 둘을 섞은 형태였습니다. 이것을 하이브리드 근무라고 합니다.

6. 06Making Hybrid Work

   To make hybrid work successful, companies can use office days for teamwork and meetings, and home days for focused work. Clear rules help everyone know what to expect.

   하이브리드 근무가 성공하려면, 회사는 출근하는 날은 팀워크와 회의에, 재택하는 날은 집중이 필요한 일에 쓸 수 있습니다. 명확한 규칙이 있으면 모두가 무엇을 기대해야 할지 알 수 있습니다.

   In my opinion, the question isn't home or office. It's about finding the right mix for each job and each person. Thank you for listening.
