Save Money or Spend It on Experiences?
A question I ask every payday
Model script
Hi, everyone. Every payday, I ask myself the same question: should I save this money, or spend it on a trip, a concert, or a class? My parents say save. My friends say live now. Let's look at both sides.

01Save Money or Spend It on Experiences?
Hi, everyone. Every payday, I ask myself the same question: should I save this money, or spend it on a trip, a concert, or a class? My parents say save. My friends say live now. Let's look at both sides.
02For Saving: Security
On one hand, saving gives you security. If you lose your job or have an emergency, savings protect you. Just knowing the money is there can reduce stress.
03For Saving: Future Goals
Saving also helps with big goals, like buying a home or studying later. Small amounts saved regularly can grow into something meaningful.
04For Experiences: Memories Last
On the other hand, experiences create memories that last. I still talk about a trip I took with my best friend five years ago. I can't remember most things I bought that year.
05For Experiences: Some Chances Don't Return
Some experiences also have a time limit. Traveling while you're young and healthy, or spending time with older family members, can't always wait until later.
06My Rule
So here's my rule. Every payday, I save twenty percent first, automatically. Whatever is left after my bills, I can spend on experiences without feeling guilty.
07Conclusion
In conclusion, it doesn't have to be one or the other. Save first, then spend on what truly matters to you. What would you choose? Thank you.
