1. 01Too Busy for Hobbies?

   Hi, everyone. I'm a hotel manager and a mother of a five-year-old. I used to paint every weekend, but for three years, I didn't paint at all. Today, I'll share the problem and how I fixed it.

   大家好。我是一名酒店经理，也是一个五岁孩子的妈妈。我以前每个周末都画画，但有三年时间，我一次都没画过。今天，我想分享这个问题，以及我是怎么解决的。

2. 02The Problem

   The problem was simple: work, family, and housework filled every hour. When I finally had free time, I was too tired, so I just scrolled on my phone.

   问题很简单：工作、家庭和家务填满了每一个小时。等我终于有空的时候，又累得不行，所以只是刷刷手机。

3. 03Why It Matters

   This matters more than it sounds. Without my hobby, I felt more stressed, and I felt like I had lost a part of myself. I was only a worker and a parent.

   这件事比听起来更重要。没有了爱好，我觉得压力更大了，感觉自己失去了一部分。我只是一个打工人和一个家长。

4. 04Solution 1: Think Small

   My first solution was to think small. I stopped waiting for a free afternoon. Instead, I painted for just fifteen minutes after my daughter went to bed.

   我的第一个办法是从小处着手。我不再等一个空闲的下午，而是在女儿睡觉后，只画十五分钟。

5. 05Solution 2: Make It Easy to Start

   Second, I made it easy to start. I kept my paints on the kitchen table, not in a closet. And I left my phone in another room.

   第二，我让开始变得很容易。我把颜料放在厨房的桌子上，而不是放在柜子里。而且我把手机放在另一个房间。

6. 06Solution 3: Put It on the Calendar

   Third, I put my hobby on the family calendar, just like a work meeting. My husband knows that Wednesday night is my painting time.

   第三，我把爱好写进了家庭日历，就像工作会议一样。我丈夫知道，星期三晚上是我画画的时间。

7. 07Conclusion

   In conclusion, you don't need a lot of free time for a hobby. Fifteen minutes still counts. Which hobby would you like to bring back? Thank you.
