1. 01Too Busy for Hobbies?

   Hi, everyone. I'm a hotel manager and a mother of a five-year-old. I used to paint every weekend, but for three years, I didn't paint at all. Today, I'll share the problem and how I fixed it.

   大家好。我是一名酒店經理，也是一個五歲孩子的媽媽。我以前每個週末都畫畫，但有三年時間，我一次都沒畫過。今天，我想分享這個問題，以及我是怎麼解決的。

2. 02The Problem

   The problem was simple: work, family, and housework filled every hour. When I finally had free time, I was too tired, so I just scrolled on my phone.

   問題很簡單：工作、家庭和家務填滿了每一個小時。等我終於有空的時候，又累得不行，所以只是刷滑手機。

3. 03Why It Matters

   This matters more than it sounds. Without my hobby, I felt more stressed, and I felt like I had lost a part of myself. I was only a worker and a parent.

   這件事比聽起來更重要。沒有了愛好，我覺得壓力更大了，感覺自己失去了一部分。我只是一個打工人和一個家長。

4. 04Solution 1: Think Small

   My first solution was to think small. I stopped waiting for a free afternoon. Instead, I painted for just fifteen minutes after my daughter went to bed.

   我的第一個辦法是從小處著手。我不再等一個空閒的下午，而是在女兒睡覺後，只畫十五分鐘。

5. 05Solution 2: Make It Easy to Start

   Second, I made it easy to start. I kept my paints on the kitchen table, not in a closet. And I left my phone in another room.

   第二，我讓開始變得很容易。我把顏料放在廚房的桌子上，而不是放在櫃子裡。而且我把手機放在另一個房間。

6. 06Solution 3: Put It on the Calendar

   Third, I put my hobby on the family calendar, just like a work meeting. My husband knows that Wednesday night is my painting time.

   第三，我把愛好寫進了家庭日曆，就像工作會議一樣。我丈夫知道，星期三晚上是我畫畫的時間。

7. 07Conclusion

   In conclusion, you don't need a lot of free time for a hobby. Fifteen minutes still counts. Which hobby would you like to bring back? Thank you.
