1. 01The Airline Lost My Suitcase

   Hi, everyone. Last year, I flew from Manila to Rome for a friend's wedding. When I arrived, everyone got their bags except me. My suitcase was lost. Today, I'll tell you what I did, and what I learned.

   大家好。去年，我從馬尼拉飛到羅馬，去參加一個朋友的婚禮。到了之後，除了我，每個人都拿到了行李。我的行李箱丟了。今天，我來講講我是怎麼做的，以及我學到了什麼。

2. 02The Problem

   The problem was serious. My suit for the wedding was in that suitcase, and the wedding was only two days later.

   問題很嚴重。我參加婚禮穿的西裝就在那個行李箱裡，而婚禮就在兩天後。

3. 03Step 1: Report It Before Leaving

   First, I went straight to the airline's baggage desk before leaving the airport. I filled out a form and got a reference number. That number turned out to be very important.

   首先，在離開機場之前，我直接去了航空公司的行李服務檯。我填了一張表，拿到了一個查詢編號。後來發現，這個編號非常重要。

4. 04Step 2: Ask About Costs

   Next, I asked, "Can I buy basic things I need, and will the airline pay me back?" They explained the rules, so I bought a toothbrush, a shirt, and a simple suit, and I kept every receipt.

   接著，我問：「我可以買一些必需的基本用品嗎？航空公司會給我報銷嗎？」他們給我解釋了規定，於是我買了一把牙刷、一件襯衫和一套簡單的西裝，並且保留了每一張收據。

5. 05Step 3: Follow Up Every Day

   Then, I checked the status online every morning and called once a day. I was always polite, even when I was frustrated. On the third day, my suitcase arrived at my hotel.

   然後，我每天早上都在網路上檢視進度，每天打一次電話。即使心裡很著急，我也一直保持禮貌。第三天，我的行李箱送到了酒店。

6. 06What I Do Now

   Now I pack differently. I keep one change of clothes and important items in my carry-on bag, I take a photo of my suitcase, and I put my name and phone number inside and outside it.

   現在，我收拾行李的方式不一樣了。我會在隨身行李裡放一套換洗衣服和重要物品，給行李箱拍張照片，並在箱子裡外都寫上我的名字和電話號碼。

7. 07Conclusion

   In conclusion, losing a suitcase is stressful, but you can handle it. Report it fast, stay calm, and pack smart next time. And yes, I made it to the wedding in time. Thank you.

   總之，丟行李箱很讓人頭疼，但你可以應對。儘快報告，保持冷靜，下次聰明地收拾行李。對了，我按時趕上了婚禮。謝謝大家。
