   Good morning, everyone. Many schools are worried about students using AI to do their homework, and some want to ban it completely. Today, I'll argue that schools should welcome AI and teach students to use it well.

   좋은 아침입니다, 여러분. 많은 학교가 학생들이 AI로 숙제를 하는 것을 걱정하고, 아예 금지하고 싶어 하는 곳도 있습니다. 오늘 저는 학교가 AI를 받아들이고 학생들에게 잘 쓰는 법을 가르쳐야 한다고 주장하겠습니다.

2. 02AI Is Already Everywhere

   First of all, AI is already part of daily life. It's in our phones, our search engines, and the tools many adults use at work. Banning it at school won't make it disappear.

   우선, AI는 이미 일상생활의 일부입니다. 우리 휴대폰에도, 검색 엔진에도, 많은 어른들이 직장에서 쓰는 도구에도 들어 있습니다. 학교에서 금지한다고 사라지지 않습니다.

3. 03A Personal Tutor for Everyone

   Second, AI can act like a personal tutor. It can explain a difficult idea in several different ways and answer questions at any time. Not every family can pay for a private teacher, so this could make learning fairer.

   둘째, AI는 개인 과외 선생님 같은 역할을 할 수 있습니다. 어려운 개념을 여러 가지 방식으로 설명해 주고, 언제든 질문에 답할 수 있습니다. 모든 가정이 과외비를 낼 수 있는 것은 아니니, 배움을 더 공평하게 만들 수 있습니다.

4. 04Skills for the Future

   Third, knowing how to use AI is becoming an important skill. In the future, the most valuable skills may be asking good questions and checking whether an answer is true. Schools are the best place to learn these skills.

   셋째, AI를 쓰는 방법을 아는 것은 중요한 능력이 되고 있습니다. 앞으로는 좋은 질문을 하고 답이 사실인지 확인하는 능력이 가장 가치 있는 능력이 될지도 모릅니다. 학교는 이런 능력을 배우기에 가장 좋은 곳입니다.

5. 05What About Cheating?

   Of course, some students will use AI to cheat. But the answer is to change how we test, not to ban the tool. For example, teachers can use more presentations, discussions, and projects done in class.

   물론 AI로 부정행위를 하는 학생도 있을 것입니다. 하지만 해결책은 도구를 금지하는 것이 아니라 평가 방식을 바꾸는 것입니다. 예를 들어 선생님은 수업 시간에 하는 발표, 토론, 프로젝트를 더 늘릴 수 있습니다.

6. 06Clear Rules

   To make this work, schools need clear rules. Teachers can explain how AI works, say when it is allowed, and ask students to show their thinking process.

   이것이 제대로 되려면 학교에 명확한 규칙이 필요합니다. 선생님은 AI가 어떻게 작동하는지 설명하고, 언제 써도 되는지 알려 주고, 학생들에게 생각의 과정을 보여 달라고 할 수 있습니다.

7. 07My Position

   My position is clear: hiding AI from students will not prepare them for the real world. Teaching them to use it wisely will.

   제 입장은 분명합니다. 학생들에게서 AI를 숨기는 것은 현실 세계를 준비시키지 못합니다. 현명하게 쓰는 법을 가르치는 것이 준비시켜 줍니다.

8. 08Conclusion

   In conclusion, students will meet AI sooner or later. The only question is whether they learn to use it on their own or with a teacher's help. I believe school is the right place. Thank you.

   결론적으로, 학생들은 언젠가 AI를 만나게 됩니다. 유일한 질문은 혼자서 쓰는 법을 배우느냐, 선생님의 도움을 받으며 배우느냐입니다. 저는 학교가 그 자리라고 믿습니다. 감사합니다.
