01I Was Late for Class Every Week
Hi, everyone. I'm a second-year university student in Toronto. Last semester, I was late for my nine o'clock class almost every week. My professor even made a joke about it. Today, I'll share how I fixed the problem.
02The Problem
My mornings were chaos. I pressed the snooze button three times, then rushed to get dressed, couldn't find my keys, and missed the bus by one minute.
03The Real Cause
Eventually, I realized the real cause wasn't the morning. It was the night before. I went to bed late, and I left everything for the morning.
04Solution 1: Prepare the Night Before
So, my first change was to prepare the night before. Before bed, I pack my bag, choose my clothes, and put my keys in a bowl by the door. It takes five minutes.
05Solution 2: No Snooze
Second, I put my alarm on the other side of the room. I have to get out of bed to turn it off, and once I'm standing, I don't go back to sleep.
06Solution 3: Aim for the Earlier Bus
Third, I stopped aiming for the bus that gets me there just in time. Now I aim for the earlier one. If something goes wrong, I'm still on time.
07Conclusion
In conclusion, I haven't been late once this semester. A good morning really starts the night before. If you're always rushing, try changing your evening first. Thank you.
