   Good afternoon, everyone. Have you ever visited a place just because you saw it on Instagram? Today, I'd like to talk about how social media is changing the way we travel.

   大家午安。你有沒有因為在Instagram上看到某個地方，就特地跑去一趟？今天，我想跟大家聊聊社群媒體如何改變我們旅行的方式。

2. 02Choosing Where to Go

   In the past, people chose where to go from guidebooks. Now, many travelers find places through photos and short videos. Some small towns have become popular almost overnight.

   以前，大家是靠旅遊書來決定要去哪裡。現在，很多旅客是透過照片和短影片找到景點的。有些小鎮幾乎在一夜之間就爆紅了。

3. 03Why Social Media Is So Powerful

   Why is social media so powerful? One reason is that the photos come from real people, not from advertisements. Short videos also show the mood of a place in just a few seconds, and they are easy to share with friends.

   為什麼社群媒體的影響力這麼大？其中一個原因是，這些照片來自真實的人，而不是廣告。另外，短影片只要幾秒鐘就能呈現一個地方的氛圍，而且很容易分享給朋友。

4. 04The Downside

   However, there is a downside. Some places now have too many visitors. This is called overtourism. Also, some people seem to care more about taking photos than enjoying the moment.

   不過，這也有負面的影響。有些地方現在的遊客實在太多了，這叫做「過度觀光」。還有，有些人似乎比較在意拍照，而不是好好享受當下。

5. 05What About Local People?

   Overtourism also affects the people who live there. In some popular cities, streets and buses are so crowded that daily life becomes difficult for locals. Some places, like Venice, have even started charging day visitors an entry fee.

   過度觀光也會影響當地的居民。在一些熱門城市，街道和公車擠到讓當地人的日常生活都變得很辛苦。有些地方，像是威尼斯，甚至開始向當日來回的遊客收取入城費。

6. 06Traveling Smarter

   So how can we travel smarter? We can visit less famous places, travel in the off-season, and follow local rules. Small choices like these help spread tourists out.

   那麼，我們要怎麼更聰明地旅行呢？我們可以去比較沒那麼有名的地方、在淡季出遊，並且遵守當地的規定。像這樣的小小選擇，就能幫忙分散遊客。
