   Good afternoon. When was the last time you watched a movie in a theater? Today, I'll look at whether streaming services are killing movie theaters, or simply changing them.

   Buenas tardes. ¿Cuándo fue la última vez que vieron una película en el cine? Hoy vamos a analizar si los servicios de streaming están acabando con los cines o simplemente los están transformando.

2. 02The Rise of Streaming

   There's no doubt that streaming has changed our habits. For a low monthly price, we can watch thousands of movies at home, whenever we want.

   No hay duda de que el streaming ha cambiado nuestros hábitos. Por un precio mensual bajo, podemos ver miles de películas en casa, cuando queramos.

3. 03The Case That Theaters Are Dying

   Some argue that theaters are in serious trouble. Many movies now come to streaming just weeks after they open in theaters. Why pay for tickets and snacks when you can wait a little?

   On the other hand, theaters offer something home can't: a giant screen, powerful sound, and the feeling of laughing or screaming together with strangers.

   In fact, many theaters are changing to survive. They are adding comfortable seats, better food, and special screenings, turning a trip to the movies into an event.

   In my view, streaming is not killing theaters, but it is making them smaller and more special. Theaters will survive by offering what home cannot.
