1. 01Local or International Company?

   Hello, everyone. I'm an accountant in Jakarta. For five years, I worked at a small local company. Now, I work at a large international company. So I've worked at both. Today, I'll compare the two for anyone choosing a job.

   皆さん、こんにちは。私はジャカルタの会計士です。5年間、地元の小さな会社で働きました。今は、大きな外資系の会社で働いています。つまり、両方で働いたことがあります。今日は、仕事を選ぶ人のために、二つを比べてみます。

2. 02Work Style

   First, work style. At the local company, I did many different jobs, from accounting to helping customers. At the international company, my role is clearer, but there are many more rules and processes.

   一つ目は、働き方です。地元の会社では、経理からお客さんの対応まで、いろいろな仕事をしました。外資系の会社では、自分の役割がはっきりしていますが、ルールや手続きがずっと多いです。

3. 03Relationships

   Second, relationships. My old company felt like a family. We had lunch together every day. On the other hand, my new company is more formal, and many colleagues are in other countries.

   二つ目は、人間関係です。前の会社は家族のようでした。毎日一緒にお昼を食べていました。一方で、今の会社はもっとかしこまっていて、同僚の多くはほかの国にいます。

4. 04Language and Growth

   Third, growth. At the international company, I use English every day, and there are training programs. My English and my skills have improved much faster than before.

   三つ目は、成長です。外資系の会社では毎日英語を使いますし、研修の仕組みもあります。英語もスキルも、前よりずっと速く伸びました。

5. 05Decisions and Speed

   However, decisions are slower now. At my old company, I could ask the boss and get an answer in five minutes. Now, some decisions need approval from three different offices.

   でも、今は物事が決まるのが遅いです。前の会社なら、社長に聞けば5分で答えがもらえました。今は、三つの違う部署の承認が必要な決定もあります。

   Here's a summary. Each type of company has clear strengths.

   まとめるとこうなります。どちらの会社にも、はっきりした強みがあります。

7. 07Conclusion

   In conclusion, neither is better for everyone. If you want to try many things quickly, a local company may suit you. If you want structured training and global experience, try an international one. Thank you.

   結論として、だれにとってもどちらかが良い、ということはありません。いろいろなことを早く試したいなら、地元の会社が合っているかもしれません。きちんとした研修や世界での経験を求めるなら、外資系の会社を試してみてください。ありがとうございました。
