01How Running Changed My Life
Good afternoon, everyone. Three years ago, I couldn't run for five minutes without stopping. Last spring, I finished my first half marathon. Today, I'd like to tell you how running changed my life.
02Where I Started
At that time, I worked long hours at a desk. I was always tired, and I felt stressed most of the time. My doctor told me I needed more exercise.
03Small Steps
I started with very small steps. First, I ran for one minute and walked for two. Little by little, I ran longer. After three months, I could run five kilometers without stopping.
04What Changed
Running changed more than my body. I have more energy during the day, and I feel much less stressed. I also joined a running club and made new friends.
05The Hard Days
Of course, it wasn't always easy. On cold, rainy mornings, I didn't want to go out. What helped me most was running with friends and setting small goals.
06My Tips for Beginners
If you want to start running, here are my tips. Start slowly, buy good shoes, and don't compare yourself to other people. Everyone starts somewhere.
07Conclusion
To sum up, running taught me that small steps can lead to big changes. You don't need to be fast. You just need to start. Thank you.
