   Hi, everyone. I'm a web designer from Chile, and for two years I've lived in a very small apartment in central Tokyo. My whole home is about the size of a hotel room. Today, I'll share the pros and cons.

   안녕하세요, 여러분. 저는 칠레에서 온 웹 디자이너이고, 2년째 도쿄 중심부의 아주 작은 집에 살고 있습니다. 집 전체가 호텔 방 하나 정도 크기입니다. 오늘은 그 장단점을 나누겠습니다.

2. 02Pro: Amazing Location

   The biggest advantage is location. The station is a five-minute walk away, and there's a supermarket, a gym, and several cafés on my street. I don't need a car at all.

   가장 큰 장점은 위치입니다. 역까지 걸어서 5분이고, 제가 사는 거리에 마트, 헬스장, 카페 여러 곳이 있습니다. 차가 전혀 필요 없습니다.

3. 03Pro: Less Stuff, Less Cleaning

   Another advantage is that a small space forces me to own less. I only keep what I really use. Cleaning the whole apartment takes about fifteen minutes.

   또 다른 장점은 공간이 작아서 물건을 덜 갖게 된다는 것입니다. 정말 쓰는 것만 둡니다. 집 전체를 청소하는 데 15분 정도면 됩니다.

4. 04Con: No Space for Guests

   On the other hand, there's no space for guests. When my parents visited from Chile, they had to stay in a hotel. Even having two friends over for dinner feels crowded.

   반면에 손님을 들일 공간이 없습니다. 부모님이 칠레에서 오셨을 때는 호텔에서 묵으셔야 했습니다. 친구 두 명만 저녁 식사에 불러도 비좁게 느껴집니다.

5. 05Con: Small Kitchen, Thin Walls

   Another disadvantage is the kitchen. I have only one burner, so cooking a big meal is almost impossible. And the walls are thin. I can hear my neighbor's alarm every morning.

   또 다른 단점은 부엌입니다. 화구가 하나뿐이라서 푸짐한 요리를 하기는 거의 불가능합니다. 그리고 벽이 얇습니다. 매일 아침 이웃의 알람 소리가 들립니다.

6. 06How I Make It Work

   So how do I make it work? I use folding furniture, and I think of the city as my living room. I read in cafés, I exercise at the gym, and I meet friends in the park.

   그럼 어떻게 지내고 있을까요? 접이식 가구를 쓰고, 도시 전체를 제 거실이라고 생각합니다. 카페에서 책을 읽고, 헬스장에서 운동하고, 공원에서 친구들을 만납니다.

7. 07Conclusion

   In conclusion, a tiny apartment isn't for everyone. But if you love city life and don't mind owning less, it can be surprisingly comfortable. My home is small, but my life feels big. Thank you.
