   Good evening. I'm a travel photographer from Cape Town, so I know how strange this may sound. My recommendation is simple: on your next trip, spend one full day without your phone.

   Without a map app, you'll get a little lost. That sounds bad, but it's often the best part. You'll find streets that aren't on any top-ten list, and you'll have to ask people for directions, which often leads to real conversations.
