Everyone brings one dish

01A Monthly Potluck Lunch
Hi, everyone. I'm a sales assistant here, and I joined the team six months ago. Today, I'd like to suggest something fun: a monthly potluck lunch, where everyone brings one homemade dish to share.
02Why?
Right now, most of us eat lunch alone at our desks. We work in the same office, but many of us don't really know each other. Food is one of the easiest ways to start a conversation.
03A Taste of Everyone's Home
Our team comes from at least six countries. Imagine trying Maria's empanadas, Ken's curry, and Priya's dal at the same table. Every dish comes with a story.
04How It Would Work
Here's how it would work. We'd meet on the last Friday of each month, from twelve to one, in the big meeting room. A sign-up sheet would help us avoid ten bowls of pasta.
05"I Can't Cook!"
Some of you might say, "I can't cook!" No problem. You can bring fruit, drinks, or snacks from a shop. The point isn't great cooking. It's eating together.
06Allergies and Diets
We also need to think about allergies and diets. So, I'd ask everyone to write a small label for each dish, showing the main ingredients and whether it's vegetarian.
07Conclusion
To sum up, a potluck is cheap, simple, and a great way to know each other better. Let's try it once next month and see how it goes. Thank you.
